History

Construction begins on first church building of native lumber costing $300.00 intended as a “temporary” church until the permanent building could be erected.

1905 Additional 9 ½ acres of land purchased from Mrs. Wicke -- $200 down payment; $450 balance owed.

1946 Groundbreaking for new 32’ x 70’ church building.

Organ console given in memory of the late Paul Miller (MIA, Korean War), son of former Pastor Paul L. Miller. Bernadine Schaller is pictured playing organ. Bernadine was the organist from 1934 - 1992, she retired on March 29, 1992.

1988 - Large building additon with new fellowship hall, kitchen, nursery, two classrooms, restrooms, Pastor and secretary offices, large narthex and an elevator to all three levels. Basement was renoved into five separate classrooms and a choir room.
